Configure Your Computer's E-Mail Software

E-Mail Set-Up: Outlook 2007

 
Step 1.

Open Outlook 2007.

Click Tools from the pull down menu and select E-mail Accounts Settings.

In the Account Settings window, select the E-Mail tab, and click New.

 
 
Step 2.

Select Microsoft Exchange Server, POP3, IMAP, or HTTP, and click Next.
 
 

Step 3.

Check Manually configure server settings and click Next.

 
 

Step 4.

Select Internet E-mail and click Next.
 
 
Step 5.

Configure your Outlook 2007 for POP3 and SMTP Authentication:
  1. Type in your User Information.
     
  2. Type in your Server Information:
    • The Account Type is POP3
    • The Incoming mail server is pop3.intercityweb.com
    • The Outgoing mail server is barracuda.intercityweb.com
       
  3. Type in your Logon Information:
    • The User Name is your entire e-mail address
    • The Password is your e-mail account password
       
  4. Check the Remember password field.
     
  5. Click the More Settings... button.
 
 
Step 6.

Configure your Outlook 2007 for Windows to retrieve your e-mail.

Under the Outgoing Server tab check My Outgoing Server (SMTP) requires authentication and click OK.

Click Next.

Review the account information and click Finish.
